Way back in the 1980's, while brothers Todd and Ryan Burkis were growing up in Belleville, Illinois, Christy's Hamburgers opened in the heart of Bulldog Country, Starkville, MS.  Over the years it became a very popular local destination for burger lovers.  

The Burkis' brother's story and Christy Hamburgers history merged when Todd acquired Christy's Hamburgers 1997.  As the home of amazing hamburgers, Christy's Hamburgers couldn't stay small forever. 

In 2002, Todd set about moving Christy's Hamburgers into a location large enough to be worthy of their extra large sized hamburgers.  The new location at 446 Hwy 12 West in Starkville was just the first step in expanding Christy's Hamburgers.

Since that time, Ryan and Todd have joined forces in the Christy's Hamburgers expansion effort and they have opened several great locations in Mississippi and Missouri.  Ryan and Todd want to make sure everyone can enjoy Christy's Hamburgers, so the expansion plans continue.  The philosophy at Christy's Hamburgers remains the same today as it was back in the beginning; give customers heaping amount of food for a fair price.
